Kukui Sausage CoMPANY

Kukui Sausage Company was established in 1944

by a gentleman named Mr. Yamada.  

The sausages were manufactured on Kukui Street

and so it was decided to name the business Kukui Sausage Company.

In those days, the sausages were set up on the roof top and hung to dry naturally in the sun and wind. 

They must have been really ono (delicious).  

Fortunately today we have USDA guidelines

and many restrictions on food handling.  

Every step is recorded from the beginning to the very end of the cooking cycle to ensure a safe and delicious product.    

Our sausages are basically still made the old conventional way.

(but now meet the USDA guidelines) 

The pork or chicken is cut by hand into smaller pieces leaving out

all the non-edible parts and then is coarsely ground.

We are a very small manufacturing company and we take pride

in our products that we produce and how we take care of

our customers.
